From the Inside: Why RAZE?
With seemingly no end in sight, it has been over 6 months since the pandemic reached all corners of the Earth and traumatized every community, leaving many of us devastated and feeling a newfound sense of loss, frustration, and anxiety towards the future. Hong Kong is no exception.
Like many other countries, the economy of Hong Kong took a hard hit as the government imposed quarantine restrictions upon many businesses from operating in order to quickly combat the third wave. According to polls and surveys conducted two months ago, more than half of Hong Kong’s local restaurants and eateries faced immediate closure and near bankruptcy due to the third wave of the pandemic.
The catering business suffered immensely as well as other businesses. Every sector of every industry was affected by this pandemic and its effects still haunt these businesses as customers have grown fearful and anxious towards them, resulting in a low visiting rate. As we continue to live through this pandemic and look for time to pass with hopeful news, Raze is proud to look back and see that we have made a positive impact on our community and has been continuously doing so.
